Providing Innovative Educational Opportunities to Rural Students

Modern Model Residential SchoolPeople in Karnali region in Nepal live one of the harshest lives in the world. Few NGOS have reached at the village level, but again because of geographical remoteness, their effectiveness is often questioned. There aren't any long-term programmes from any Non-governmental bodies in this region. The education system is so ineffective that the public schools have almost failed; students sit on bare muddy floor, teachers remain absent frequently, no means of technology are available, corruption remain rampant and aboveall, only less than 40% of enrolled students come to class each day. The rich ones or job holders in villages send their children to cities, leaving only the students from poor families in local public schools. But don't these children have right to quality education and food?

This question gave birth to Modern Model School with the following promises:

- We will make quality education and technology possible in our villages.
- We will help poor and disadvantaged kids grow up with top educational standard equivalent to private schools in cities.
- We will use each penny and available resources for the utmost benefit of our students and school infrastructure.
- We will bring educational revolution in our villages by all means.
